Cycling is not one of the sports featured at the Heritage Centre this year, but it hasn’t been forgotten.  This Saturday, August 27, will be Cycle Transitions Saturday.

• A historic Cobourg-made bicycle will be on display during the weekend.
• On Saturday afternoon, from 2-4:30, there will be presentations of cycling safety and bicycle maintenance.
• In addition there will be an opportunity for do-it-yourself bike checks – bring your bike along.

In July we were very pleased to have good turnouts to hear authors Todd Denault and Stewart Richardson give presentations on their books about the Canadian hockey scene.  Both are Cobourg residents – what a great community this is for the arts!
