On this Sunday closest to World Refugee Day we will be welcoming Emilio Ojeda as guest speaker. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Emilio has his own stories to share, but also has broader insights as Settlement Councillor for Northumberland County.
Formed in 2014, the New Ventures Band has developed into a Big Band with a number of off-shoots, including the Brass Quintet. They will be filling our small site with some big music!

On the Monday of the James Cockburn Holiday Weekend we welcome back the duo of Rob Washburn and Rob Franklin, the Cockburn Society. With humour and insight they will once again delve into the story of our Father of Confederation. Today’s presentation: “Mercy Coles, Miss Confederation and the Cobourg Railway Stop”.
We are delighted to be welcoming members of the famous Concert Band of Cobourg in this special year of celebration. There will be a performance by a brass group at 11am and by a woodwind ensemble at 2pm. Please bring a folding chair and suitable head covering!
